Health and Wellness Coaches help clients make positive, lasting changes to their lives by guiding them through the process of creating a vision for their health and well-being, developing a healthy mindset and healthy habits, and encouraging them along the way until they accomplish their goals.
A Health and Wellness Coach is not a therapist or psychologist. While I help clients improve their emotional well-being, I do not work with them to address existing psychological disorders. Also, while I share healthy eating practices with my clients, my coaching practice does not conduct nutritional counseling. I am happy to provide you with a referral to a licensed therapist or Registered Dietitian if needed.
Individual Coaching sessions are either 60, 30, or 15 minutes in length and can be conducted at any interval you choose. When you commit to health and wellness coaching, it is helpful to take the time to reflect on what you are doing and to be mindful of the changes you want to make. It is best to commit to coaching for at least three months to make a lasting change.
Email coaching, or e-coaching, is an ideal option if you'd like to work with a certified health and wellness coach but have scheduling or budget constraints. e-coaching allows you to enjoy the motivation and accountability of working with a coach with the convenience of connecting via email in a time frame that works for you.
Individual health and wellness coaching sessions are conducted remotely, either through video conferencing or by phone. Coaching via email or e-coaching is also available.
